Another year and another set of challenges in 2018 we had the beast from the east and the extreme heat of the summer oh and of course Hereford Councils brilliant decision to introduce on street parking charges ( a real boost to trade) . Come 2019 we had Brexit and the death of the High street with shop after shop closing with Hereford becoming no exception on a positive if you require a hair cut its the place to be ( little use to me I fear) or some obesity inducing fast food followed by coffee all is good. What used to be a thriving market town on certain days of the week now resembles a scene from a Clint Eastwood spaghetti movie all it really needs is the tumble weed blowing through High Town.
